【 摘 要 】

Geotrichum candidumwas isolated from fruit of tomato ( Solanum lycopersicum ) in Washington state. Cultural and morphological features, and rDNA sequence data, are reported. Koch's postulates were completed on tomato fruit. This is the first report of this fungus causing disease of tomato in Washington state.
