【 摘 要 】

This study proposes a technique of accessing applications from multiple file servers in acomputer network that caters for a large user community. The technique is a step towards creating acomputer network system that is simple to implement, scalable, easy to manage, transparent to the userand suitable for a university-type environment. The proposed technique has some features of adistributed system, but is not as complex. It is built around a very popular commercial networkoperating system called NetWare.
