【 摘 要 】
Business establishments in Colombia (MSMEs) account for 96.4%, generating 80.8% of employment in the country, and are present in different productive sectors, providing a significant GDP (Silver, 2009) and partly percentage development plans in the department of Boyacá, 2008 - 2011 and 2012 - 2015, the agribusiness sector is identified as one of the promising, with exploitable potential. This paper aims to analyze and describe characteristics of management in micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) agribusiness department of Boyacá. For the development of this research, we worked over 64 food processing agribusinesses agricultural and livestock origin located in the cities of Tunja, Tunja and Sogamoso; analyzing aspects related to their culture, organizational structure and business strategies, managed by general managers. After analyzing the results, some strengths and weaknesses in management of agribusiness MSMEs were evident. Therefore it is necessary to combine efforts from different institutions to advice and train owners, managers and staff of agribusiness companies regarding defining an approach based on integrated management strategies.
