【 摘 要 】

The knowledge of the true treefall´s dimension in the forest is extremely important to the studies of vegetation succession and thinning as well to make programs of reforestation enhancement in Eucalyptus stand in its adult age. This research was developed by comparing five alternatives methods with the true measure of the affected area, wich was obtained from the use of topographical equipments. It was chosen the method of segmentation of the area in triangular geometric figures.
