References(34)This article presents the InterPARES Project, a multidisciplinary international research initiative aimed at developing the theoretical and methodological knowledge necessary for the long-term preservation of digital entities produced in the course of business or research activity so that their authenticity can be presumed or verified. The methodology, research activities, preliminary findings and projected products are discussed in the context of the issues that the project attempts to address.
