【 摘 要 】

Holstein Friesian milking cows and heifers were used under rotational grazing to evaluate different cultivars (cvs.) elephant-grass; Merckeron Pinda, Mercker-86-México, Porto Rico and Cameroon under grazing conditions in the region of Santa Maria-RS. in relation to the availability and the quality of the forage it was observed that the cvs. are very similar but the best performances in weigh gain were observed for Merckeron Pinda and Cameroon cvs.
