【 摘 要 】

The article is a brief description of a journey across Slovakia toward distant Venice. It aims at presenting how attractive the country situated to the south of Carpathian Mountains  is, especially  Slovakia’s monuments and works of art. At article also stresses a diversity of Spisz and Pohronie silver and gold minig regions as well as Bratislava, the capitol city, a place where three different cultures �? Hungarian, Austrian and Slovak - are mixed together.
