【 摘 要 】

The article is a report from a workshop on “Protection and preservation of collections in the modern library.�?During the meeting important issues were addressed, regarding the protection and proper safeguard of cultural heritage. Due to the nature of the issue, every now and then, there are workshops on this subject in the educational offer for librarians. This way librarians have the possibility to strengthen and complete their knowledge or find interesting solutions (which took place on the occasion of the workshop described) related to restoring book collection.
