【 摘 要 】

References(4)A wavefront matching design method is successfully applied to a high-index-contrast InP waveguide for the first time. Fabricated 2×2MMI coupler exhibits a 1.6 times wider operation wavelength range than a conventional MMI coupler. This coupler has less waveguide-width sensitivity and is suitable for InP-based large-scale photonic integrated circuits.
