【 摘 要 】

One experiment was conducted to evaluate different amino acid (AA) and calcium (Ca) levels for broilers from 22 to 42 days of age. Evaluated the performance, carcass yield and calcium excretion. Five forty hundred birds, Male broilers Cobb, were randomly assigned to 6 treatments in a 3x2 factorial arrangement, considering the factors AA (100, 125 and 150% NRC, 1994) and Ca (75 and 100% NRC, 1994), in three replications of 30 birds each. The studied AA were methionine, methionine+cystine, lysine and threonine. The performance of the birds was analyzed according to body weight, weight gain, feed intake and feed conversion. Carcass yield and the percentage of each part were evaluated from 2 birds randomly taken from each pen at 42 days of age, in a total of 6 birds per treatment. Carcass yield was evaluated just after the slaughter in relation to individual percentage carcass as well as breast, legs (thigh and drumstick), wing, back, head+neck and feet. Besides, the excreted calcium of the birds was analyzed. For so much, it was used 72 birds, in experiment, housed in cages, following the same design described previously. It was not found interaction between the factors studied. The birds fed diet 125% and 150% AA showed improvement in feed conversion. Breast yield was affected by dietary Ca.
