【 摘 要 】

Different models have been proposed to investigate the effects of various processparameters on shrinkage of plastic parts, which in most cases the effect of each parameter isobtained by changing one factor at a time. In this research, a simple flat model has been used and asimulation code has been developed. Then, through this simulation code, the effects of differentprocess parameters have been investigated. This code was run for a typical thermoplastic(polycarbonate) and finally, a Design Of Experiments (DOE) approach was used to study theeffects of multiple variables on shrinkage simultaneously.
