【 摘 要 】

CARAIPER scheme is a teaching-learning strategy that is part of the Educational Model for Developing Entrustable Professional Activities (MEDAPROC). The objective of this study is to strengthen the acquisition of clinical reasoning, which is essential for the study and resolving of cases in the health sciences. In addition, the scheme allows the development of entrustable professional activities. It is based on situated and experiential learning, deliberate and reflective practice. CARAIPER is the acronym of the steps: case, clarify terms, representation of the activity, analysis, integration, questions, independent study, and feedback. It incorporates elements of the strategies that included, but not limited to: patient witnessed precepting, clinical problem analysis, problem formulation, problem list, and illness script. CARAIPER scheme is an integral, systematic and flexible strategy, designed with the premise of innovating and improving the acquisition of CR and APROC through didactic planning. It is expected that the adoption of CARAIPER scheme supports the evolution fostered by the trend of competency-based education and contributes to safety and quality of patient care.
