【 摘 要 】

Objective To analyse the internal validity of COPEAU-brief version in psychology college students from Lima. Method The sample included 631 students (61.5% women) between 16 and 49 years-old (Mean = 20.37; SD = 3.155). Was implemented A confirmatory factor analysis was performed, together with a method for assessing the equivalence between the long and brief version of COPEAU. The reliability was analysed using coefficient alpha and omega. Results The original four-factor structure was replicated in the brief version, and the correlation between versions support the equivalence. Additionally, the reliability coefficients of COPEAU were also adequate. Conclusion The psychometric properties of COPEAU-B was satisfactory. The limitations of the study are discussed.
