【 摘 要 】
0–3 wt% Nd-doped ZnO particles were synthesized by microwaving through aqueoussolutions containing Zn2+ ions and different contents of Nd3+ ions in deionized water. Theproducts were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), Raman spectroscopy and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), andwere specified as hexagonal wurtzite ZnO particles. Their photocatalytic activities wereinvestigated through the degradation of methylene blue (MB) activated by UV radiation. In this research, 3 wt% Nd-doped ZnO showed the best significantly improvedphotocatalytic activity for degradation of MB dye of 3.95 x 10−3 min−1. The photocatalysisof Nd-doped ZnO samples activated by UV radiation was also discussed.
