【 摘 要 】

An important component of the variablerenewable generation (VRG) integration in Romanianpower grid represents the wind and solar curtailmentenergy due to the impact it can have on economics.This paper performs a quantitative assessment of bothVRG penetration and curtailment ratio in Romaniangrid using the new tool proposed in specialty literaturenamed “C-P map”. It was only calculated thepenetration ratio, for the curtailment ratio only beingmade interesting scenarios due to the lack of officialdata. This has allowed obtaining images of principleregarding near future tendency for the national powernetwork, providing help in planning and decisionmaking in order to optimize the VRG curtailmentlevel and secure grid operating.
