【 摘 要 】

IntroductionThis case report [1] describes the peri-operative care of a patient with neuromuscular scoliosis and a Forced Vital Capacity (FVC) of under 30%. This low FVC places the patient at high risk for post-operative complications. The authors carefully assessed the patient's pre-operative condition, have taken into account the patient's—as well as the family’s expectations, provided a successful prehabilitation program, and were able to carry out this major operation without any major complications.
