【 摘 要 】

The aim of dental camouflage is to disguise unacceptable skeletal orthodontic relationships with the new placement of the teeth in the jaws so as to be an acceptable occlusion and an aesthetic facial appearance. The possibilities for treatment, therefore, are the displacement of the teeth in relation to their supporting bone, to compensate for the underlying mandibular discretion, or the new surgical placement of the jaws and the displacement of the teeth. We present a 11-year-old clinical case with a severe crowding in anterior cross bite anterior, midline deviation to the upper and lower right, molar class III and canine I and skeletal class I with dolichofacial growth tendency, treatment was performed At the Mexican Institute of Orthodontics IMO in the city of Leon Gto. Objective: to correct severe crowding by means of extractions of lower premolars and maxillary expansion using the hass apparatus, correcting overyet and overbite, correcting midline and achieving canine class I. Results: severe crowding was corrected, maxillary expansion was achieved, Patient profile improved with a molar class III and canine class I. Conclusion: Camouflage in orthodontics is a less intensive treatment plan option in a patient with a not so severe problem to obtain optimal results within the physiological limits Where you can get excellent results, avoiding surgical phases.
