【 摘 要 】

A new species ofTricholoma ,T. smithii , is described from New Mexico and Colorado.  It is reminiscent of and belongs in the same clade asTricholoma pardinum .   It has the same stature asT. pardinumbut differs by the browner pileal coloration and by the presence of pleurocystidia.  A detailed description, drawings and images of the new species are provided as well as a phylogenetic analysis based on ITS sequences.
