【 摘 要 】

Logistics are being used as an instrument that enables the development of competitive differences, as it aims at identifying process improvement opportunities and also cost reduction in the activities that compose the value chain and maximization of results. The object of this study therefore consists of presenting an optimization and logistics management proposal of processes that compose the value chainof a company operating in the transporter, reseller and retailer (TRR) activity. Descriptive research of a qualitative nature was used to do this, developed through a bibliographic and case study, where data collection was made through documentation, personal interviews and direct observation in the field. The results indicate that: (i) the activities that compose a value chain of a TRR refer to the acquisition, transport, warehousing, sale and distribution of fuel, and service rendering inherent to the installation and maintenance of refueling equipment; (ii) the organization under study has some shortcomings in the development of its processes, such as, lack of responsibility definition, absence of sales policies, no formal control of orders and stock, and no purchasing and distribution planning for products, among others; (iii) the restructuring of the activities that compose the value chain of this organization, and its management is recommended in the presented proposal. It is concluded that it is not necessary to contract people to implement the indicated adaptations, but simply reorganize the employees, define positions and jobs, train them, and develop an awareness culture with the owners and employees.Keywords: Logistics; Value Chain; Transporter; Reseller and Retailer (TRR)
