【 摘 要 】
MembersoftheSlfnproteinfamilyhavebeenimplicatedintheregulationofcellgrowth,hematopoieticcelldifferentiation,andTcelldevelopment/differentiationinthethymus.Tenmembersofthisfamilyhavebeendescribedinthemouse,andtheyhavebeendividedintothreesubgroupsbasedontheoverallsequencehomologyandthesizeoftheencodedproteins.WehaveidentifiedSlfn3,amemberofSubgroupII,asanoverexpressedgeneinCD4+CD25+Tcellsintheperiphery.Interestingly,wedemonstratethatuponactivationandproliferation,Slfn3mRNAisdown‐regulatedinCD4+CD25+Tregsandup‐regulatedinCD4+CD25–Teffs.Moreover,TGF‐βinhibitstheexpressionofSlfn3inanti‐CD3/CD28‐activatedCD4+Tcells,andthesameconditionsinduceFoxP3mRNA.OurresultssuggestthatSlfn3couldhavearoleinTcelldifferentiationandactivation...
