【 摘 要 】

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of standardized patients(SP)combined with objective structured clinical examination(OSCE)teaching method on the critical thinking ability of nursing students in the course of Health Assessment. Methods 〓A total of 173 undergraduate nursing students of were divided into the experimental group(n=86)and the control group(n=87). For the experimental group, SP teaching was used in interrogation and examination curricula, and OSCE was used for practical skills assessment. For the control group, traditional teaching and examination methods was used. Then the theory and practice assessment scores from the two groups were compared. The critical thinking of nursing students was evaluated by critical thinking disposition inventory(CTDI-CV)scale. Results 〓The theory and practice assessment scores and medical record writing scores of the students in the experimental group were better than those of students in the control group(P<0.05 or P<0.01). The score of CTDI-CV was increased in both two groups after receiving the course of Health Assessment. Except for self-confidence and inquisitiveness, the score of other dimensions in CTDI-CV was better improved in the experimental group than that of controls(P<0.01). Conclusion 〓In the teaching of Health Assessment course, the teaching method of SP combined with OSCE is helpful to improve students' ability of critical thinking.
