【 摘 要 】

Abstract：Objective To investigate the teaching needs of obstetrics specialist nurses in a training base in Yunnan Province, so as to provide approaches to improve training quality. Methods 〓A total of 51 nursing trainees from 45 hospitals in Yunnan province were investigated with a self-designed questionnaire. Their attitude to curriculum setting and assessment methods were analyzed. Results 〓Trainees' teaching needs for theoretical courses mainly included midwifery, nursing courses, specialized courses of postpartum nursing. The course duration of medical basic course and clinical practice could be equally arranged. Scenario simulation was the most recognized teaching methods, and trainees showed the lowest awareness of the assessment on scientific research paper writing. Conclusion 〓It is required to consider basic theoretical knowledge of medicine and nursing in the curriculum. More efforts should be paid to increase the curriculum on nursing research, social humanities and nursing teaching. In addition to averaged distribution of theory knowledge and practice, awareness and writing skills should be highlighted.
