【 摘 要 】

Abstract：Objective To evaluate the continuous monitoring on the unplanned extubation rate of indwelling needle in pediatric nursing. Methods 〓The potential reasons for unplanned extubation rate of indwelling needle were investigated and analyzed, and the monitoring on sensitive indicators of unplanned extubation was carried out. The monitoring data of nursing sensitive indicators was analyzed, and the improvement measures were formulated by using PDCA cycle. To compare the unplanned extubation rate before and after implementation of continuous monitoring. Results 〓There were 232 pediatric patients observed before implementation, with a unplanned extubation rate of 27.16%(63/232).The extubation rate dropped to 10.96% of 228 cases after implementation of continuous monitoring, with a significant difference(P<0.01). Conclusion 〓The continuous monitoring can effectively reduce the unplanned extubation rate of the indwelling needle and improve the quality of pediatric nursing.
