【 摘 要 】

Abstract：The chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)is a common respiratory disease. With an increased incidence and prevalence, the COPD places a heavy burden on sufferers and the society. Given that about 80% to 90% patients with COPD have a history of smoking, it is possible to prevent the COPD and delay the development of disease by smoking cessation. This study reviewed the studies on smoking cessation in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and summarized the advantages and intervention methods of smoking cessation.
