【 摘 要 】

Infertility practice is academic whether performed by academics in an academic setting or not. Knowledge exists in all areas of obstetrics and gynaecology in all working environments. Important work and discoveries have occurred outside the formal academic sector in the past and will continue to do so. Academic discipline is required to test ideas, but observation by an unfettered mind provides the stimulus. Some may wish to publish who had thought to leave that arcane activity to others.
