运用项目管理法降低给药错误发生率的效果评价

【 摘 要 】

Abstract：Objective To investigate the efficacy of project management to reduce the incidence of medication errors. Methods 〓A retrospective analysis of 54 cases of medication errors between 2013 and 2014 was conducted. The project management was carried out and the root causes analysis(RCA)was used to trace causes and links of the medication error. Interventions such as improving nursing process and guidelines, training nurses, standardizing the clinical process and evaluating the effectiveness of the training were implemented to achieve continuous improvement in nursing quality. The performance of nurses and the incidence of medication errors from 2015 to 2017 were monitored. Results 〓After implementation of the project management, nurses achieved a higher score of medication checking assessment compared with that of nurses before implementation of the project management(87.12±6.17 vs. 83.88±6.06). The correct rates of checking patients' wrist bands were 94.90% to 98.25%, and the correct rates of checking operation implementation were 94.9% to 99.75%. There was a decrease in rate of medication errors to total nursing adverse events in last three years. Conclusion 〓The project management can standardize the clinical processes of nurses and reduce the incidence of nursing adverse events.
