【 摘 要 】

In order to evaluate the effect of NaCl on vegetative characters and Cl, Na and K concentration of leaf, stem and root of ‘Super Strain’, ‘Pletro’, ‘Hamra’, ‘Native’ and wild cultivars of tomato , this experiment was performed in factorial arrangement by completely randomized design with four replications in greenhouse. The transplants of above cultivars was cultured in 5 liters pots containing Jahrom region dominant soil with calcareous properties and were placed under salinity stress as irrigation water containing 0, 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 mmol/L NaCl for two months. In the end of experiment, plant height, chlorophyll amount, fresh and dry weight of leaf and stem and also Cl, Na and K in leaf and stem and root were measured and analyzed. Generally, salinity until 40 mmol/L had no significant influence on measured characters but by increasing of salinity level, measured characters were affected. Based on results can be said that ‘Pletro’ cultivar had high potential for tolerance to salinity and is recommending to the regions having low irrigation water quality.
