【 摘 要 】
To treat dental disorders and estimate age, it is important that veterinarians understandteeth eruption sequence for the animal in question. Few dental images of the eastern greykangaroo have been published. In the present study, radiographic imagings of 29 kangaroos, ranging in age from 12 months to 10 years 9 months, was used to surveil the replacement ofpremolars and the eruption of molars. These images revealed eruption patterns in fivestages, while the second and third deciduous premolars were shed non-systematically.Furthermore, the third premolars and fourth molars erupted in the mandible earlier than inthe maxilla, which may contribute to the frequency of mandibular dental disorders.
