Prevalence of sports injuries in elite female karate athletes

【 摘 要 】

The purpose of this paper was to investigate the extent and prevalence of extensive damages among female Karatekas. In order to examine the prevalence of injuries among girls with age range 18-28 years old, 97 female Karatekas were selected randomly. Nonparametric tests data were used to analyze the case group with SPSS16 software. Most sports injuries in the five percent level of significance were evaluated. The results indicated that the average 47.5 injuries per athlete per year respectively, which, unlike previous studies it was observed that the damage was not serious (0.05> P). The highest and lowest rates of sports injuries during practice and during competition respectively is related to (Head and neck and the lower limb) (0.05> P). Most value of sports injuries during practice and during competition were in muscle tissues, bone tendinous and lowest injury rate was in different tissues (0.05> P).
