【 摘 要 】

The contrast between the celebratory rhetoric of many posthumanist accounts and the material reality of those people who work in the industries that produce the alleged technologies of global emancipation could thus not be more pronounced. The exclusive focus on the emancipatory aspects of emergent technologies deflects attention from the conditions under which they are produced: as the example of Foxconn shows, more often than not, by the manual labour of real human bodies under exploitative conditions.
