【 摘 要 】

Molecular profiling of 12 different accessions ofHedychium spicatumwere investigated using 25random amplification of polymorphic DNA (RAPD) primers.A total of 240 amplification products were scored with an average frequency of 14.11 bands per primer.Based on the Jaccard's similarity coefficient, 12 accessions were grouped into two main clusters with 38% similarity. The data obtainedsuggest thatH. spicatumhas high genetic diversity, which could be attributed to its wide range of geographic distribution.
