【 摘 要 】

When viewing differences that make differences from an evolutionary perspective, information is not just communication. As Stonier proposed, a Physics of Information would be a helpful discipline to understand how information takes effect independently of human intelligence and independently of being used in communication. In the talk it will be explained why Stonier´s idea of two types of physically active information is a good start for an evolutionary perspective on the subject, and why it needs revision
