【 摘 要 】

This article, through a literature review, compare the advantages granted by autocondicionantes orthodontic adhesives in their use. 30 articles a search was conducted in recovery literature sources such as PubMed and Google internet Schoolar, in a year period from 2006 to 2014, using keywords like self-etching, braces and orthodontics. Of the 33 articles were excluded 6, leaving a total of 27 articles which were used for research. Comparative results were obtained regarding adhesion autocondicionantes demonstrated the greatest value as Kruskal-Wallis and Dunn with a value of 2 and 3. Referring to shear the enamel surface of the results indicated that the values of the autocondicionantes adhesives were significantly lower compared to conventional adhesives. By studying the damage that occurs on the surface of the bracket to the disunity it was observed that there were no significant values among conventional adhesives and one-step. It also showed that the percentage of white spots after detachment of the brackets was totally lower in those teeth that autocondicionantes adhesives used.
