【 摘 要 】

After orthodontic treatment not only correct alignment of teeth and bite ideally expected, is also expected harmony of facial soft tissue and should be considered. Profile facial aesthetics is analyzed before and after orthodontic treatment, its relationship with the lips, arcades, contouring lips with the smile curve.This coupled with the concept of beauty and aesthetics have created different non-surgical materials to improve the appearance of the face. Currently there are methods and practices for improving the facial aesthetics. Hyaluronic acid is an alternative as an adjunct to this improvement, high water holding capacity and viscoelasticity has several aesthetic and medical applications.Materials and methods - The articles are reviewed on the use of hyaluronic acid benefits in the dental area, especially in improving those patients who, after finishing their orthodontic treatment, are not satisfied with their soft profiles.Conclusion. The best application results of hyaluronic acid according to the best duration of the effect will be in the area of the thick lips (2 years), then in the glabella area (1.5 years)
