【 摘 要 】

Emerging organicpollutants (EOP) include many environmental contaminants based on commercialproducts such as pharmaceuticals, personal care products, detergents, gasoline,polymers, etc. EOP may be candidates for future regulation as they offer potentialrisk to environmental and human health due to their continual entrance intothe environment and to the fact that even the most modern wastewater treatmentplants are not able to totally transform / remove these compounds. High performanceliquid chromatography is recommended to separate emerging organic pollutantswith characteristics of high polarity and low volatility, especially pharmaceuticals,from environmental matrices.
