【 摘 要 】

An evaluation ofthe insecticidal activity of the fruits extracts of Trichilia clausseniiwas carried out and the methanol extract revealed to have strong insecticidalactivity. The fractionation of methanol extract of T. claussenii seedsbioassay-guided against Spodoptera frugiperda has led to the identificationof the ω-phenylalkyland alkenyl fatty acids as active compounds in this extract. The structuresof the compounds were proposed by spectroscopic analysis and comparison withliterature data.
