【 摘 要 】
In real bay layout of automated guided vehicle (AGV) systems forthin film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD)Array manufacturing,excessive inter-baytransfers insuchsystemswill degrade performance.Thus, thispaper presents two models which capture the elements of the materialhandling time of bothbayand conventionalAGVsystems. Five case simulation studiesare conducted to determinewhetherbaysystems are more suitable than conventional AGV systems for particular applicationsunder consideration of inter-bay transfer rate.
