【 摘 要 】
The study of seismic loading on buildings and structures caused by technicalseismicity has intensified due to increase in loads. Loads are of interest notonly for existing structures but they must be checked as part of an entire documentationproject for new relevant buildings or for planned building reconstruction. Theregions of Ostrava and Karviná were selected for study. The main reasonsof our choice are the simultaneous occurrence of different types of technicalseismicity: Mining induced seismicity, traffic vibrations, industrial activityeffects, etc., and the existence of suitable structures for experimental measurementin this area. Individual buildings require different approaches for evaluationof their seismic load according to actual Czech technical standards.
