【 摘 要 】
The point of the present research was to find possible interrelations between the concentrations of SO 2 , NO xfrom the atmospheric air and S and N from leaves of forestry species. The samples, respectively the leaves and the needles, have been collected from six trees, from four stations of air quality control within Cluj-Napoca, the trees being represented by different woody species, that have been identified around the stations. The samples have been collected at the end of September, 2010. The majority of the species taken under discussion in case of monitoring stations are strongly to very strongly susceptible to the risk of the expression of physiological diseases as a result of the exposure to nitrogen oxides from the atmospheric air, due to their large capacity of nitrogen accumulation in leaves. The most exposed arePinus nigra ,Picea pungensvar.glaucaandTilia cordata , the less exposed isAesculus hippocastanum , whereasBetula pendulais situated on an intermediary position.Â
