【 摘 要 】

Polychlorinateddibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDD) and dibenzofuranes (PCDF) and polychlorinatedbiphenyls (PCB) are types of persistent and bioaccumulating organic pollutantswith enhanced chronic toxicity and carcinogenic properties and can be consideredas environmental indicators of anthropogenic activities since their occurrencein the environment can always be linked to anthropogenic activities. The presentpaper reviews the main sources and behaviour of these compounds in the environmentas well as the risks they represent to man and biota.
