【 摘 要 】
Surface-EnhancedRaman Scattering SERS underwent huge advances since a single-molecule Ramanspectrum was obtained in 1997. New theoretical and experimental approaches emergedsince then leading to a better understanding of the enhancement mechanisms andto a significant improvement in the Raman signal. This review presents the currentstatus of the SERS effect and the promising ways of designing and preparinghigh performance SERS-active substrates.
