【 摘 要 】

This review dealswith the homo- and copolymerization of styrene with nickel catalysts. The catalyticactivity, polymer stereoregularity, polymer molecular weight and polydispersityare dependent upon nickel ligands and reaction parameters. Catalysts supportedon silica, treated with methylaluminoxane (MAO), have shown higher stereospecificityand activity compared to homogeneous ones. The influence of these parametersis discussed focusing on the elucidation of some aspects of the polymerizationmechanism.
