hCGhormoneisanaturallyoccurring,immune‐modulatingagent,whichishighlyexpressedduringpregnancyandcausesimprovementsofsomeautoimmunediseasessuchasmultiplesclerosisandCrohnˈsdisease.Littleisknownaboutitsimmune‐modulatingeffects.ThisstudyinMNCsofwomenwhoreceivedhCGaspreconditioningpriortoIVFdemonstratesthathCGincreasesanti‐inflammatoryIL‐27expressionandreducesinflammatoryIL‐17expression.Inaddition,wefoundincreasedIL‐10levelsandelevatednumbersofTregsinperipheralbloodofwomenafterhCGapplication.RejectionofallogeneicskingraftswasdelayedinfemalemicereceivinghCG.WeconcludethathCGmaybeusefulfortheinductionofimmunetoleranceinsolidorgantransplantation...
