γδTcellsrepresentasmallpopulationofoverallTlymphocytes(0.5–5%)andhavevariabletissuedistributioninthebody.γδTcellscanperformcomplexfunctions,suchasimmunesurveillance,immunoregulation,andeffectorfunction,withoutundergoingclonalexpansion.HeterogeneousdistributionandanatomiclocalizationofγδTcellsinthenormalandinflamedtissuesplayanimportantroleinalloimmunity,autoimmunity,orimmunity.Thecross‐talkbetweenγδTcellsandotherimmunecellsandphenotypicandfunctionalplasticityofγδTcellshavebeengivenrecentattentioninthefieldofimmunology.Inthisreview,wediscussedthecellularandmolecularinteractionofγδTcellswithotherimmunecellsanditsmechanisminthepathogenesisofvariousautoimmunediseases...
