【 摘 要 】

Abstract:Objective To evaluate the effect of nursing evaluation combined with health guidance for diet management of elderly patients with diabetes. Methods   A total of 89 elderly patients with diabetes were randomly divided into observation group(n=45)and control group(n=44). Both two groups received routine nursing, and the nursing evaluation combined with health guidance was carried out in the observation group additionally. The dietary behavior and glycometabolic conditions were observed before and after interventions in both groups. Results   The score of dietary behavior was markedly higher in the observation group than that of control groups 6 and 12 months after intervention(P<0.05). The level of fasting blood glucose(FBG)and 2h postprandial blood glucose(2h BG)were lower in the observation group than those of control group at 6 and 12 months after intervention(P<0.05). The occurrence rate of hypoglycemia was 2.22% in observation group and was 22.73% in control group, with a significant difference(P<0.05). Conclusion   Nursing evaluation combined with health guidance can effectively improve the dietary behavior and glycometabolic control, and decrease the risk of hypoglycemia in elderly patients with diabetes.
