【 摘 要 】
Abstract:Objective To evaluate the problem-based learning(PBL)combined with case teaching method in pediatric emergency practice teaching of nursing students. Methods Totally 100 nursing students worked as intern in pediatric emergency of a certain first-class hospital between April 11th, 2016 and October 23rd, 2016 were included in this study. Students were randomly divided into the study group and the control group, with 50 cases in each group. The routine teaching method was carried out in the control group, and PBL combined with case teaching method was performed in the study group. The post-department rotation examination and evaluation on teaching method by questionnaire was carried out. Results Students in the study group achieved a higher score in theory test, practice assessment and clinical emergency coping ability compared with those in the control group(P<0.05). All students agreed that PBL combined with case teaching was an effective method to improve the coping ability in emergency. Most of them, accounting for 96.0%, considered this method as an effective training method of clinical thinking. Conclusion Using PBL combined with case teaching method can effectively improve the professional knowledge and skills of nursing students in critical care and emergency ability.
