【 摘 要 】
The hospitalization of the child might set her apart of her pedagogical and social activities. At this moment, the pedagogue’s support in the hospital offers the guarantee of the maintenance of school activities, therefore minimizing anguishes, and reflecting positively in the collaboration with the treatment offered by the health team. Theobjective of this study was to elucidate the importance of the pedagogy in hospitals as means of maintenance of the child's scholar inclusion within the hospital environment. Themethodologywas a bibliographic research related to the proposed theme. Asfinal considerations , the hospital pedagogical care maintains the connection with the school, during the hospitalization period, accompanying the educational activities proposed by the educational institution where the child is part of, stimulating the child on the continuing of her emotional, psychological and social development.
