专项培训对老年鼻饲患者照护者护理能力的影响

【 摘 要 】

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of specific training on nursing ability of caregivers for elderly patients with nasal feeding. Methods  Totally 86 elderly patients with nasal feeding were assigned to the control group and the observation group, with 43 cases in each group. In the control group, caregivers of those patients were given routine health education on nursing of nasal feeding, and the specific training was carried out for those caregivers in the observation group. The nursing ability of caregivers was evaluated at admission and discharge. The related complications were recorded and the swallowing function of patients was evaluated after three months follow-up. Results  The nursing ability of caregivers were improved in both two groups at time of discharge( P<0.05 or P<0.01). Caregivers of patients in the observation group achieved a higher score in assessment of awareness on nasal feeding knowledge, related complication, stomach tube nursing and nasal feeding skills compared with those in the control group(P<0.01). There was no significant difference in related complication at three months after discharge(P>0.05). Patients in the observation group had a better outcome in swallowing function assessment compared with those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion  Specific training is an effective way of improving the nursing ability of the caregivers for elderly patients with nasal feeding.
