【 摘 要 】
The phase noise reduction in a configurationof the HEMT oscillator with a dielectric resonator coupled by aquarter-wavelength impedance inverter is investigated. TwoHEMT oscillators for a satellite payload system are manufacturedin the same configuration except for the coupling configurationof the dielectric resonator (DR) in order to empiricallydemonstrate the phase noise reduction. Experimental resultshows that a phase noise reduction by 14 dB can be enhancedby increasing the characteristic impedance of a couplingmicrostrip impedance inverter.
