Noise Whitening-Based Pitch Detection for Speech Highly Corrupted by Colored Noise

【 摘 要 】

Pitch estimation is important in variousspeech research areas, but when the speech is noisy, accuratepitch estimation with conventional pitch detectors is almostimpossible. To solve this problem, we propose a new pitchdetection algorithm for noisy speech using a noise whiteningtechnique on the background noise and obtain successfulresults.
